Life as it is!

It is a beauty in itself to have a life, this life,
A life to call your own,
A life full of ups and downs,

A life of expectations and disappointments,
Filled with joyful days and some sorrowful ones,
A life to experiment and experience,

But Alas! We often forget to cherish this life,
The life that is gifted to us,
The life we believe we deserve,

Maybe we need to pause a little,
And realise how lucky we are,
To be here, in this realm, at this point,

While experiencing the ups and downs,
Understanding ourselves and others,
That what a beauty it is, in itself, to have a life,
This life that we believe we deserve.
